I spent a weekend in the Lansdowne hotel in Belfast recently, and it was pretty good!

Hello everyone,

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this well-placed hotel situated on the Antrim Road, just around 3 miles away from the vibrant Belfast city center. The location is ideal - central yet reasonably priced, striking a perfect balance.

One of the highlights was the ample and complimentary guest car park, setting a positive tone right from the start of my stay.

Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a clean and modern reception area, and the staff there were both friendly and professional, making me feel welcome and valued.

Let's address the room size first: they are on the smaller side, measuring approximately 14 meters square. However, despite the compact space, I found the rooms to be comfortable, tidy, and pleasantly warm. The inclusion of a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection and a generously sized smart TV added to the convenience.

The double bed provided was clean and had a fresh scent, offering a firm yet cozy place to rest. Additionally, an in-room standard-sized safe was available for securing valuables, though I must note that the clothes hanging space was somewhat limited.

Moving on to the bathrooms, they appeared to be recently renovated, featuring modern amenities. The walk-in shower was a nice touch, and the abundance of towels, toiletries, and toilet paper ensured a comfortable and convenient experience.

While there wasn't an in-room coffee machine, I appreciated the option of calling reception to have a complimentary coffee delivered right to my room. It's these thoughtful touches that enhance the overall stay.

Downstairs, the hotel boasts a delightful bar with an extensive selection of beverages and cocktails. The bar menu was quite comprehensive, and the food offered was surprisingly tasty.

All in all, I can confidently say that this hotel provides a good value proposition. With its convenient location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service, it left a positive impression on me. Should I find myself in Belfast again, I would happily choose to stay here once more.
